Within the framework of the Strategic Plan, the company has decided to incorporate criteria and policies of Corporate Social Responsibility into its management scheme; convinced that the best way to achieve medium term sustainability and durability is by the creation of environmental and social value, apart from economic value.
In order to do this, at the beginning of 2015, the company implemented and started applying a CSR Plan, through which it intends to increase and improve the level of communication towards its Groups of Interest, part of which is constituted by this letter and the accompanying documents, in order to satisfy, even in excess, the expectations of them towards the company. The commitment of Comercial Godó, SL, to Corporate Social Responsibility is reflected in the acceptance and adherence to the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact concerning Human Rights (2), Labor Principles (4), Environmental Principles (3) and Anti-corruption Principles (1), by letter of declaration of intent, addressed to Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations.
